This view is looking from the Lake Ranger side of the area below the Spillway. Just about the middle, below the rock ledge which you jump off of, to get down to the area where the Archaeocidaris spiny sea urchins are dug out. To the right is the rugged area you climb out of the lower level, but going up and over large boulders and then around to the left and back down again, to the rock ledge from which one jumps down 4 to 5 feet to the dig area below. From there one walks along that rock shelf to the far left and up that steep path, then around to the left and down a little again, to start across the the Brownwood Lake Spillway. This view shows a great deal of the rugged area in and out of the fossil digging area.
